Your table. Your prep. Your campaign.

GMProjects is a game-running toolkit for GMs: build one-shots, organize prep, attach sessions to campaigns, and keep resources ready at the table.

Manual prep is always free. Assisted tools are optional and human-reviewed.

Prep Workspace

A prep workspace that feels like a GM binder.

Each prep item is editable, structured, and ready to run. Keep it as a one-shot, reuse it as a side quest, or attach it to an ongoing campaign.

The River That Flows Only When Lied To

Draft Prep
Overview

A river that runs backward on every lie spoken at its banks.

The village of Hollowmere depends on the river for its mill, its trade, and its drinking water. For three nights the current has reversed at dusk, and the elders refuse to say why. The party arrives as the miller goes missing and the truth begins to surface — quite literally — among the reeds.

A table-ready one-shot. Sections include hooks, NPCs, key locations, paced scenes, the central twist, and a finale with multiple consequences. Attach to a campaign to keep it as a session.

Campaign Hub

Turn one-shots into campaign building blocks.

Campaigns in GMProjects work like folders for the games you run. Attach prep items, one-shots, side quests, NPCs, locations, clues, handouts, table rules, players, and session notes to the same campaign.

Attach to Campaign

Attach prep when it becomes part of the story.

Not every idea starts as a campaign. Build a one-shot first. If it grows, attach it to a campaign and keep running. The original prep stays editable, while the campaign gains a linked session, side quest, or reference.

  • Attach existing prep to a campaign
  • Start new prep directly inside a campaign
  • Link NPCs, locations, clues, and handouts
  • Mark content GM Only, Player Visible, or Revealed
  • Preview a clean player-facing table packet
Player View · Table Packet

Show players only what they should see.

Mark content as GM Only, Player Visible, or Revealed. The Player View / Table Packet helps you share allowed rules, recaps, handouts, and revealed campaign details without exposing secrets.

GM Only

Elder Wren made the pact 40 years ago. The river keeps her secret.

Player Visible

The river runs backward at dusk. The miller is missing.

Revealed

Handout: Pact fragment recovered from the mill wheel.

Two ways to prep

Start from a blank binder — or let the toolkit help.

GMProjects is a workspace first. Manual prep is free and always will be. Assisted tools are there when you want them, never in your way when you don't.

Empty Template

Start from a clean prep structure and fill it in yourself. No credits required. Useful when you already know what you want to run.

  • One-shot structure: hooks, NPCs, scenes, finale
  • Edit and save everything by hand
  • Attach to a campaign whenever it grows

Guided Prep

Answer a few prompts and get a draft session structure to react to. Edit every section, keep what works, and rework the rest.

  • Guided questions shape the session
  • Polish or rework any section on demand
  • Always editable — never locked output

Start with one prep piece. Grow it into a campaign.

Blank templates cost no credits. Assisted prep tools are optional.
